How to Apply

To be eligible for scholarship consideration at Boise State University, you must meet the following criteria:

CURRENT STUDENTS

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 and plan to enroll in 12 or more credits.

 

  • Check our department/college scholarship application page for additional information. (Note: not all departments have an application).

 

 

 

  • If you are a current recipient of a Boise State Scholarship that is renewable, please make yourself familiar with Scholarship Policies for different guidelines regarding your award.

 

NEW FRESHMAN/TRANSFER

  • Complete the Admissions process. A completed application for admission consists of:
    1) the Admission Application
    2) $50 non refundable, one-time application fee
    3) official high school (or GED score) and/or official college transcripts
    4) Official ACT or SAT scores if you are under 21 years of age. 
    5) If you received college credit through a concurrent enrollment program while you were in high school you will also need to submit official transcripts from each college or university where you have earned credit. All materials must be received no later than February 15th.

If you successfully completed this checklist you will be considered for scholarships. Notification of scholarship awards will begin in mid March.
