How to Apply
To be eligible for scholarship consideration at Boise State University, you must meet the following criteria:
CURRENT STUDENTS
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0 and plan to enroll in 12 or more credits.
- Check our department/college scholarship application page for additional information. (Note: not all departments have an application).
- Submit Supplemental Scholarship Form (if applicable) by March 15th.
- Submit FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)by March 15th to be considered for need-based scholarships.
- If you are a current recipient of a Boise State Scholarship that is renewable, please make yourself familiar with Scholarship Policies for different guidelines regarding your award.
- Check out any other BSU Scholarship Applications available as well as any Private Scholarships currently advertised.
NEW FRESHMAN/TRANSFER
- Complete the Admissions process. A completed application for admission consists of:
1) the Admission Application
2) $50 non refundable, one-time application fee
3) official high school (or GED score) and/or official college transcripts
4) Official ACT or SAT scores if you are under 21 years of age.
5) If you received college credit through a concurrent enrollment program while you were in high school you will also need to submit official transcripts from each college or university where you have earned credit. - Submit Supplemental Scholarship Form (if applicable) by February 15th.

If you successfully completed this checklist you will be considered for scholarships. Notification of scholarship awards will begin in mid March.
