Summer Aid Basics - Breaking News!

You may be aware that this is the second summer for the "Year Round Pell Grant Program." Last week, funding for the 2011-12 Year Round Pell Grant was cut during the U.S. Congressional budget negotiations. This cut in funding would have impacted your 2011-12 Pell Grants, especially for spring and summer 2012 terms. If your original summer 2011 Pell Grant was awarded based on your 2011-12 FAFSA, that will be changing.

Bottom line is that all summer 2011 Pell Grants at Boise State will now be based on the 2010-11 FAFSA.  Doing so will be financially beneficial to more students in the long run.

Summer aid is awarded separately from fall and spring aid. It is based on the specific classes for which you register. Detailed instructions regarding summer aid eligibility and deadlines for each summer session are now available.
