Activate your PIN! |

Many individuals are puzzled by the problems they are having using their PINs. The reason is that the U.S. Department of Education added one more security component to the PIN. To increase the security of your PIN, you are asked to "Activate" your PIN by going to the PIN web site: www.pin.ed.gov |

You will be asked to provide a special question and answer that will be associated with your PIN. You will select from several questions such as: What is your mother's maiden name? Once you activate your PIN, it should be fully functioning again. 1.18.2005 |
