Report Outside Scholarships and Education Benefits
 
The terms of your aid require you to report any education benefits you receive that are not visible on your BroncoWeb financial aid award.
 
These benefits include, but are not limited to:
 
bullet Scholarships from non-Boise State donors
bullet Vocational Rehabilitation assistance
bullet Trade Act Adjustment aid
bullet Tuition reimbursement or assistance from employers
bullet Military education benefits
bullet Tuition waivers for graduate assistantships
bullet Summer fellowships
bullet Other third-party payees toward your student fees or housing

To avoid repaying federal financial aid at a later date, it is in your best interest to report this assistance as soon as you know you are receiving it! Really. Click here to send an email message reporting assistance.

What happens if you don't report outside educational resources?

When this assistance appears on your Boise State student account, it is reported to financial aid. Federal regulations require that this education aid be included in your financial aid award and calculations. You can avoid...

bullet Repaying large amounts of federal aid
bullet Receiving much more aid fall semester thus giving you little or no spring semester aid

Financial aid staff will work with you to identify any special circumstances you may have and to reduce or eliminate any unexpected aid adjustments that result from your educational assistance.
