Manage Your Aid

You can avoid delays in receiving and accepting your aid by understanding what you need to do in the financial aid process.

Check Your Aid Status

Once you submit your FAFSA and scholarship applications, check your BroncoMail and My.BoiseState Student Center regularly for updates on possible To Do or Hold items. To Do or Hold items must be complete to receive federal aid.

FAFSA Verification

If your application is selected for verification, we’ll ask you to provide additional information (tax documents, forms) so we can ensure application accuracy. You’ll need to complete the verification process before you can receive federal aid.

Accept or Decline Your Aid

You will accept all loans, work-study, and most scholarships via your Student Center in my.BoiseState. Grants are automatically accepted on your behalf. You should accept your aid as soon as possible.

Receive Your Aid (Disbursement)

Disbursement is the payment of your financial aid to you. If you have To Do’s or Holds, it will prevent your aid from disbursing.

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)

In order to maintain your eligibility for federal financial aid, you need to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards each semester.
