Partial Government Shutdown

This is an important message for students that are selected for verification and have IRS documents needed on their account. Due to the partial government shutdown the IRS is not processing requests for Tax Return Transcripts. If possible, you can use the Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA to satisfy this requirement as this service is still available. Currently we have received no guidance from the Department of Education for other appropriate forms of documents but are hoping to receive guidance from them soon and will keep our phone message and website up to date with current information. As of now, students that are unable to use the Data Retrieval Tool will have to wait for the partial government shutdown to end to get these documents. To help students for the 2019 spring semester, our student financials office is allowing students affected by the shutdown to set up a payment plan without the standard $30 fee.
